Family Tree

You can make your own family tree - draw your own pedigree, or use photos. There are set ways that it is traditionally done - but you can be creative. (Some people are sensitive, so think about it).

What about your dog's family tree?

You don't have to figure inbreeding co-efficients, just don't let dogs breed with their relatives.

1) Write the name of your dog, it's parents, and all 4 grand parents.

2) Before allowing a dog to breed to another dog, look at it's pedigree.

(A list like what you you just made for your dog).

3) If any of the 7 names on your dog's pedigree, is also on the 7 name pedigree of the dog you plan to breed to - you are planning incest.
